We found Brian by chance, and boy are we glad we did. He guided us through the purchase of our first home in City Terrace and was just wonderful along the way. From sending us listings within our price point to giving us neighborhood tours so we would know what parts of town were a good fit for us, he was the right balance of everything….
Need a referral? He has trusted lenders, plumbers, and termite companies, many of which he has used on his own home. Want to choose your own vendors? He will never pressure you to do anything you aren’t 100% comfortable with. He will gladly come with you to open houses and share his thoughts on strengths and weaknesses, or you can explore on your own if you would prefer. He lives in the area and is very active in the community, so if a vacant lot is about to be developed into a large apartment complex or dedicated to the city as a park, he knows it. We looked all over East LA and NELA and found a home that was just right for us, thanks to Brian’s patience and perseverance. I could not recommend him more highly!

I’ve worked with a total of 4 agents, and upon requesting to view some properties, on the very same day, Brian scheduled 3 appointments. Brian is very prompt at scheduling and making the best out of our carved time to do property touring, trying to schedule at least 3 properties per meet up and would always offer to drive.
Many times, multiple offers got accepted! In addition, Brian shared his contacts for inspections and handy repair labor. I will absolutely recommend Brian as your agent!!!!

As a first time home buyer, I spoke to several agents to ensure that I made a wise decision. After meeting with Brian, I was extremely impressed with his knowledge of local real estate and his professionalism. Brian was able to give me valuable information on several neighborhoods (El Sereno, City Terrace, Pasadena, etc.)…
and home types and ultimately found me a place within about a month of our first conversation (despite my particularity on parameters). I did not feel pressured and he was able to work with me on a fairly limited budget. Brian and Felyce helped me find my first house. They explained the process to me every step of the way and helped me figure out my priorities. They never pressured me into making an offer on a house that was too expensive or that I didn’t love.
In fact, they encouraged me not to make an offer on at least one home I liked, but didn’t love. Eventually, Brian and Felyce helped me find the perfect home. They also helped me find a handyman once I settled in.

Brian took excellent care of us as we bought our first home. We bid on multiple homes with him and his advice was always sound. With competing bids on one home, he was vigilant in his contact with the seller agent and kept us in the game round after round.
Heartbroken when we finally got outbid, we motivated us to get right back out there and see a slew of homes the following week. He encouraged us towards seeing one that we had blown off as an option, that he knew fit all our asks, and it ended up being the one we fell for. He was a great advisor and hand-holder through a shortened escrow.

My husband and I met Brian during an open house and I found him to be a very honest and down to earth guy. We let him know that we had recently moved in the neighborhood and had decided to stop in. We had a lovely conversation and found out that Brian was our neighbor. A few weeks later, when my brother decided to look for a house, I recommended him. My brother was very pleased with Brian’s professionalism!
Then one day my husband and I were driving down the street and we saw Brian pulling weeds and picking up trash from the sidewalk. I later asked him what he was doing and he said he is active in the LA32 Beautification Committee. He is also our Neighborhood Watch Captain and Nextdoor.com Lead for El Sereno Hills. Brian recently graduated from The Los Angeles Police Department’s 9 week Community Police Academy geared on improving communications between the LAPD and El Sereno residents. This is the third time Brian Helped me in buying, selling. I went to China on business and wanted to sell my condo quickly. Brian took care of everything. When selecting a real estate agent for our recent home sale and purchase, we decided to work with Brian Larsen. He lived in our immediate neighborhood which made it convenient for us, and he was knowledgeable about the area, current comps, general market, etc.
During the selling process, he was helpful in providing guidance to “stage” our home – from yard improvements and appropriate furniture placement to outdoor clean up (which he personally did before each open house we held with him). Our buying and selling process started out smooth and easy but became a very complicated process due to several unforeseen circumstances. Brian was calm and helped all parties (sellers, buyers, and their respective agents) get through.
